³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ Accreditation Is Reaffirmed

I am pleased to announce that accreditation for ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ has been reaffirmed.  The Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges, Western Association of Schools and Colleges, in its recent meeting determined that ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ has addressed concerns raised in an earlier review.  During a November site visit, commissioners reviewed whether the college had resolved deficiencies noted during the Spring 2015 comprehensive review.  And, in its January meeting, the commission determined that ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ meets those standards.

This is wonderful news for ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ! As president of ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ, I applaud the efforts of our faculty and staff who worked tirelessly to address the areas of concern raised by the commission.  In its letter to me, the commission acknowledges ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ for “sharing the values and the work of accreditation to ensure educational quality and to support student success.â€

Rowena Tomaneng, PresidentThanks to everyone who made this possible and for helping us to continue our legacy of “Transforming Livesâ€.
